Ralph dedicated much of his remarkable life to research and education as an accomplished biology researcher and professor, and later as a dean at Washington University in St. Louis. As a testament to their shared passions for research and education, Ralph and Lee Anne established an endowed fund for research and publications at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital.

Our Care Beyond the Bedside model is built on the belief that every child deserves a childhood, even in the midst of long hospital stays and complex medical challenges. Through learning, exploration, and play, we help children rediscover joy, curiosity, and moments of normalcy that illness often steals away.

These children who live with the most complex medical conditions are often overlooked in pediatric research. By supporting this fund, you help change that by giving us the ability to share our discoveries with the wider pediatric community. Together, we can improve care for children with medical complexities—touching lives far beyond our hospital walls.
