Rosa Suarez-Solar, MD, is a pediatrician at Ranken Jordan where she has been caring for children with complex medical needs for 15 years. She came to Ranken Jordan after nearly 10 years in private practice as a pediatrician. During that time, she provided inpatient care for newborn, children and adolescents as well as for infants in the neonatal intensive care unit.

In addition to her role as a pediatrician at Ranken Jordan, Dr. Suarez-Solar is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at the hospital.

In recognition of her achievements and medical expertise, Dr. Suarez-Solar has been named to St. Louis Magazine’s list of Best Doctors for several years.

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Suarez-Solar attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe, Bayamon, and completed an internship and residency through Saint Louis University at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Her bachelor’s degree in biology is from the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Suarez-Solar is fluent in both Spanish and English, which allows her to communicate well with many diverse patients and families.
