Ellyn serves as the hospital’s first executive director of strategic initiatives, where she is accountable for hospital strategy, developing and enhancing clinical programs and services, and business development and growth. She joined Ranken Jordan in May of 2023, bringing nearly 30 years of professional experience to Ranken Jordan including more than 15 years in healthcare leadership.

Most recently, Ellyn served as the director of strategy and business development at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital where she led strategic planning to support significant growth of the hospital including the transport team, ambulatory care sites, and growth initiatives for pediatrics and maternity services across the St. Louis region.

Prior to her position at Cardinal Glennon, she served in managerial roles in planning and business development and outreach at St. Louis Children’s Hospital focused on service line planning, growth initiatives, developing physician relationships, CME programs and telehealth initiatives. Additionally, Ellyn brings experience and perspective working outside of healthcare in a marketing capacity at XTRA Lease.

Ellyn completed her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri – Columbia and her master’s in health administration from Washington University. She resides in St. Louis with her husband.
